Kyriakos Pagonis

Kyriakos Pagonis is Vice President of Policy and Government Affairs at MMO Partners. Mr. Pagonis 15 years’ experience in policy implementation and campaign management give him the unique skills necessary to provide his clients with a significant Return on Investment (ROI).   He currently represents public agencies and local governments including cities, counties, regional planning authorities, water and electric utilities and flood control agencies.  His innovative financing proposals have helped his clients secure over $200 million in federal financing for economic development, transportation, water resources, housing, social services, energy, technology, homeland security and public safety projects and programs.

Success in Washington, DC is rarely the result of independent action.  Mr. Pagonis's ability to create and manage strategic coalitions and his non-partisan approach to solving regulatory and funding challenges has been a primary factor to achieving the highest rate of return for his clients.  In 2014, working with the Yale School of Management Chief Executive Leadership Institute, Mr. Pagonis helped launch the Yale Mayors College (YMC). Since its inception, YMC has brought together mayors of large, small, and mid-sized cities with top business leaders to share common challenges and discuss innovative solutions to public policy challenges.

Before joining MMO Partners, Mr. Pagonis worked for a political consulting firm in Washington, DC, where he developed campaign messaging, strategy and political analysis for a wide array of clients. Additionally, he worked in several state political campaigns in North Carolina and Ohio as a campaign manager, fundraiser, and field director.

In 2015, he was recognized by Leadership Arlington as one 40 emerging leaders under the age of 40 who demonstrate impact personally and/or professionally through their exceptional leadership in the DC metropolitan region. Mr. Pagonis has been a member of the Arlington County Community Development Citizens Advisory Committee (CDCAC), where he provided advice on CDBG funding proposals from community groups representing a wide constituency including affordable housing, job training, senior centers and public service.  He also is a member of the American Hellenic Education Progressive Association where he organized citizen education activities and voter registration initiatives.
